Compassionate Living for Uncertain Times
This course is about bringing more self-compassion into our lives which is particularly useful now, when the pandemic has introduced us to new uncertainties. Self-compassion helps us to be at ease with who we are in all circumstances, good and bad. We can learn to feel more deeply connected to others and to focus on what really matters to us.
To benefit from this course participants should have some prior experience (even if basic) in meditation and/or mindfulness.
Booking below is required.
The course will be taught by Pat Elliott, M.A., fully qualified to teach both Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness Based Compassionate Living, certified by Bangor University. Pat currently holds BAMBA (British Association of Mindfulness-Based Approaches) certification for mindfulness based teaching, which means that Pat keeps up-to-date with training, attends regular supervision sessions and goes on appropriate retreats for about 10 days a year. Pat has been teaching the MBSR course for 7 years and has led about 20 groups.
